Strange Things Happen in Philadelphia collects six short pieces of illustrated weird fiction about the past, present, and near future of a city where anything can happen. Nothing depicted in these stories is real, of course, but they're drawn from a deep well of local folklore and hearsay.

Philadelphia is filled with decaying ruins and vibrant local cultures, and I see this collection as a celebration of those of us surviving and thriving in one of the great American cities.
